From Bangalore: Board a train towards Erode Junction, and take a local train or taxi to Kodumudi Station (around 30 km).
From Chennai: Take a train to Karur or Erode, then connect to Kodumudi via local train or taxi.
From South Tamil Nadu (Madurai, Tirunelveli, etc.): Trains towards Karur or Erode will help. From there, short local travel to Kodumudi. (Limited trains will stop at Kodumudi)
Buses from Chennai or Bangalore typically go via Erode or Karur. From either of these towns, you can get frequent town buses or mini buses to Kodumudi.
Direct buses are limited, so it’s better to break your journey via Erode or Karur.

From Chennai: ~410 km, via Villupuram – Ulunturpet – Thuraiyur – Karur – Kodumudi (Approx. 7 hours).
